How to take care

No, it's not too tight, just feels weird!

That's because you're not used to it. In a couple of days you'll get used to it.
慣れないものだからね。２、3日で慣れてくると思うよ。
Step3, information about your cast and how to take care of it.
3番目のステップとして、今後のケアの仕方について説明するよ。
The cast is made of fiberglass which is waterproof, but the lining cotton wrap isn't.
So, avoid getting it wet.
ギブスはファイバーグラスで出来ていて防水なんだけど、コットンは防水ではないので、濡れないようにしてください。
What do I do when I take a shower?
じゃあ、シャワーを浴びる時はどうすればいいの？
When you take a shower or bath, put a plastic bag around it.
If you have an itch, don't put any sharp objects, like a hanger or a pencil to into the cast.
シャワーを浴びる時やお風呂に入る時には、まわりにプラスチックの袋を巻き付けるといいよ。
痒い時でもハンガーとかペンとか鋭いもので押したりしないようにね
If your skin get scratched, it could get infected.
皮膚が傷つくとばい菌が入るから。
Try blowing into the cast or you can use a hair dryer on cool temparature.
It usually takes care of it.
ヘアードライヤーの冷風をあてるといい。それでだいたい痒くなくなるはずだ。

Don't put powder or lotions into the cast.
ギブスの内側にパウダーやローションを塗ったりしないようにね。
Keep your cast elevated to decrease any swelling.
ギブスをあてたところはなるべく高くするようにして、腫れるのを防ぐようにしてください。
Move your fingers to increase your circulation don't forget to take your medication.
それから、循環を良くするために、なるべく指を動かすといいです。お薬を飲むのを忘れないように。
